The mission credo of Wilmore UMC states that “we are a body of believers being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of the world.” To accomplish this, we are surrounding ourselves around these core values:
- Vibrant prayer, as a passionate conversation between God and His people
- Living worship, honoring God through both our coming together and our going Out
- Winsome evangelism, spreading the Gospel to those who do not know Christ
- Community building, discovering and imitating the fellowship of the Triune God
- Spirit-formed discipleship, deepening the community’s participation in the life of God
- Ministry and mission to the world, sending God’s children to meet the needs of a hurting world both in a local context and globally
