The Searls Family
HUNGARY
The Searls family is presently serving in Érd, Hungary, with World Gospel Mission (WGM). The Searls family oversees English ministries in Hungary for WGM. This involves curriculum development, organizing, hosting, teaching and directing Home English Clubs on the field, as well as planning and executing special events. We are also involved in planning, and hosting English camps in the summers. Sounds like a lot of work. It is! We are using English teaching as a tool to produce spiritual hunger and to develop relationships out of which we can share the gospel. Most Hungarians are not interested in Christianity. It is proving a valuable tool in reaching Hungary for Christ. If you feel that the Lord has given you some gifts in the area of teaching and want to use those for the Kingdom, we would love to have you come to Hungary even if it is just for a year.
We are also leading the church planting team. We need a place to invite those who are expressing interest in spiritual things. We have been meeting for several months now, and have several who come regularly.
PRAYER CONCERNS
- That Jesus continues to lead and direct us as we interact with our students, both in the Home English Clubs and at Church!
- For wisdom in camp planning.
- For wisdom in leading the church, these are very new believers or not yet believers.
- Strength for the girls as they go to school.
